Meeting with buddies~

The 1^st week of my semester holiday was a break-away from the hustle and bustle life in KL to Genting. It was really enjoyable and refreshing~~~ It's another memorable event to me. I hope I'll be able to blog about it.
And my 2^nd week of semester holidays is just as fun. I had 3 days of fun catching up with 3 of my greatest pals including another one of my pal's bf. They are...

I managed to find a temporary 3 days work thanks to BP in AP Corp. Honestly, working in the telemarketing line is frustrating. Let's not talk so much about it. You can read it from BP's blog.



So, on the 2^nd day of work in the Northpoint Offices in Mid Valley, I met up with Lynn & Simon. Hehe... It's really sweet seeing both of them and I admit I miss them LOADS!!!



HOW CAN I NOT MISS THEM?!?!?! ONE IS MY FRIEND OF 6 YEARS AND STILL COUNTING. ANOTHER IS THE GOSSIP QUEEN!!!



The gossip queen here is Simon. Yeap.. He gossips more than Lynn. Fu-yoh!!! I really admire him. I can use some of his skills. Hahax!!! But, he's really nice and funny. He treated us to Nando's~~~ And he spoilt the steel rooster attached to the railings. ==



Lynn & Simon was doing most of the talking and it's real fun hearing to them. About their college lives, friends and lecturers. The not so cheery me was hyped up after listening to them. Lol.. That's how powerful they are. And they said that I was stressed because I was babbling things that doesn't make sense. Lol...



Then, we went to have a pearl milk tea. And to the arcade, seeing Simon playing Initial D, 3 of us racing in Daytona USA. And get cheated by Photohunt. I still think that the Photohunt in MV arcade cheats RM1. We only played for 1 minute. And it's certainly not our skill problem. I spent 15 minutes at the Photohunt in Genting. LOL!!!


Lynn drove me back. Hee... With Simon, we didn't lose our way. XD..

Then, for the 3^rd day of my work, I went to One Hotel near One Utama~~~


Here, I met BP who's working alongside me and managed to get to know Chun Li!!! Her real name sounds similar to Chun Li, so, BP decided to call her that. Haha... Ken & Chun Li was always battling with each other throughout the 9 hours of work. Streetfighters hero marh.. LOL.. My legs are crying because I don't have a formal black heels. So, had to borrow Lynn's black Mary Jane's shoes. IT'S BLOODY 4 INCHES! Yah, I know she warned me, but I really have no other choice. *sob*



Anyway, it was an experience working in this line as the event helper. Got to know so many kind of people. And BP was always taking care of me. As if I'm tofu. Chieh.. Haha.. Yala yala.. I know you're nice and want to care about your friend over here. XD..



And, I got to know about his college life which is not as colourful. I kind of took pity on him, but I'm sure the bloodiness in him will pull him through all of this. GAMBATTE BP!!! I'm sure you can do it~~~ Hee.. We went to a not-so-nearby mamak in KL and started talking again. Haha... I'm gonna miss him again...



And when I'm not working, I went for another Nando's meal by Chee Kian. ><.. I had a fate with the rooster. LOL!!! Went back to my old school. Reminisced while walking up the school. Haha.. Like "A Walk To Remember". Saw back my old teachers. Thinking how time passes by as they've changed physically. And looking at the mirror, thinking the same thing looking at myself. Seeing my old friends, and thinking how they've changed too. Haha.. Suddenly had a crave for ice-cream and got one from the same "pak cik" 2 years ago. Guess some things never change. Hee..



Then, met up with Chee Kian and walked to Nando's. I'm so gonna kill him. I crossed the road halfway and went back to the same point ALL BECAUSE OF HIM!!! I'm lucky to be alive. Lol.. It's because I'm blurry also larrr.. I misunderstood him. But it's easier to put the blame on him. Hehx..



And then, we had the Peri Kick-Starter in Nando's. Made him eat more. You'll see why when you see his size. Similar to that of a bone. The waitress was really nice and sweet. Saw a few MBS Form 6 gals. Talked a bit on that. Talked about his classmates which he really enjoys talking about. I personally think that this guy has cheered up a lot. Although still quite pessimistic.



Then, we went to the Bakery Shop to get some pistachio.. Which I wrongly pronounced as pimpachio to the lady. And she gave me the looks that says "this gal is mad". *sob* Haih... Alas got some almonds. Anyway, I didn't take him to stroll around the garden as I know the way. Have confident in me a bit okay??? Hmff...



Haha.. And that ends my beloved 3^rd week. I really miss them a lot. I was really happy seeing them at last. And catching up on stuffs. Muahaha.. And managed to bully them along the way. Honestly, you should cherish your friends. Thanks a lot to you guys. MuaxXx~~~

FOUNDATIONS ARE OVER!!!

Relieved??? No doubt...

Now that's left is wait for my Semester 3 finals result (pray for the best) and wait for degrees to start. Sadly, there's only a short time to rest before degree starts. Surely, will need to find a job. No money no life... LOL!

Anyway, I managed to catch the 2 latest movies:

• X-Men Wolverine Origins
• Threads of Destiny (T.O.D)

I wanted to watch T.O.D, while Chee Kian wanted to watch X-Men.
After a few arguments, we came to a mutual agreement..
I would accompany him to watch X-Men, while he'll accompany me to watch T.O.D.
Fair and square~~~
So, we went to Mid Valley to catch both the movies.
I woke him up at 8 in the morning so that he won't have any excuses to be late.
However, I was the one who arrived late.
And... Got lectured by him. >.<
When we entered the theatre, the whole room was EMPTY!!!
Only the both of us.
So, as usual.. We started to create a ruckus. Haha.. He jumping around. And me shouting around.
I thought noone would be entering the room, so I was shouting something to him and suddenly, a few people came in..
=.=".. Paiseh.. paiseh... And he got a good laugh at me. Zzzz... Smacking him is just not enough. I wanted to snap a picture of how empty the theatre is, but his phone is not up to it. Oh well... Anyway, Thread of Destiny is quite a decent romantic movie. Although I don't really like the ending. Hish.. But, I think it leads to another episode of it. I guess I'll be in it for a second installment.


THREAD OF DESTINY
This japanese movie is based on a hit mobile novel "Akai Ito" written by Mei.
"Akai Ito" refers to the East Asian belief of the red string of fate. Originating from Chinese legend, "the red string of fate" myth states that the gods tie an invisible string around the ankles of men and women who are destined to be soul mates and will one day marry each other.

The plot revolves about the heroin, Mei and hero, Atsushi. When Mei met Atsushi in high school, they both realized that both of them have a lot in common. They found out that they've met each other when they were 8 years old on the 29th February - both of their birthdays. Now, 8 years later, they meet again and they somehow feel that they are fated, in one way or the other. They grew closer and as every story goes, something happens - or rather happened - made them grew apart. They realise, although fate can be sweet, it can be so dark that you don't even want to talk about it.

This story also touches on drug addiction, suicide, possessiveness and domestic violence. I kind of like Mei, although I really feel like shaking her and say "WAKE UP!!! ARE YOU STUPID???" at times. But, I realised that she's doing a big sacrifice on her part and I really salute her for it. Not everyone can do that.
It's not a common taste which is well-liked by everyone, but I think it's nice. Although it can get a little boring at times as there's not much action. So, don't watch it if you expect a lot of action.

X-MEN WOLVERINE: THE ORIGINS

One word: SYIOK!!! Really action-packed and you can barely take your eyes off the screen.
But in my case, I do get my eyes off the screen frequently especially when there's killing and gruesome things. I have a weak heart...LOL!!! Noone's going to believe that.
This movie didn't let their viewers down. yes chee kian, i have to admit that your recommendation is good. *piff* This movie is quite detailed, from how he got his name - Wolverine - to why his memory was lost. I bet a lot of people knows what this movie is all about.. so, let me express my love towards the character. XD


Wolverine a.k.a Logan ~Hugh Jackman~

Main attraction of this movie. Look at his body!!! He's so hot~~~ He's really fierce but also kind and nice. Just the perfect guy. XD

Sabretooth ~Liev Schreiber~
The antagonist of this story. But, he's quite good also. Haha.. Maybe because of his greed, he looks evil to me. My favourite quote from his is "Wake me up when it's over". XD.. Watch this movie to understand it.

Kayla ~Lynn Collins~
She's another hot woman in this movie. Really attractive and sexy. Like her physical attraction, her ability is to manipulate peoples' mind to do what she wants.

Gambit ~Taylor
Kitsch~
Funny guy and cute. Haha.. His power is kinda cool.. Which is using cards to attack people. I think he charges them with electricity. He also has a electricity stick which is quite powerful. But, I still prefer the marvel Gambit. Hee..

Wade ~Ryan Reynolds~
Talkative and funny. Can't shut up and quite powerful despite his chatty mouth. In the end, he's REALLY powerful and managed to shup up... Not in a pretty way. He's expert with the swords.

These are only those few in the movie. Obviously, there's more characters worth watching, so watch it!!! In short, MUST WATCH!!! I'm waiting for more movies. Loadsa nice movies this year. Hee~~~

After movies, we went and look for Chee Kian's Eragon: Brisingr. Saw the price that didn't drop and put it again on the shelf. Hahax.. Then, went to get some sweets. Please don't be lazy la Sei Chee Kian!!! LOL!!! Hardworking a bit. Always lazy to get this and that. Alas hafta push him to get it. If not, he won't even get to see the cover of Brisingr or get any of those candies he wanted. Hahax... Kecoh with you again when I have the time yar. Hee..

Foundations are over.. almost.
Next up waiting for me is my degree.
Without me noticing it, I've been studying for 15 years.. and still counting.
It's a common knowledge that I'm taking up Actuarial Science.
I wonder if I'll get through these 3 years alive.
Not so much of the hardship
Nor the toughness of this subject..
But more to my interest on this subject.
I've been passing my 15 years of studying aimlessly..
Merely for the reason to graduate with a good result so that it'll be easier for me to get access into the colleges I desire.
Primary, secondary and now.. College.
I exclude kindergarten because I'll never complain anything about it.
It's so much fun - The starting of more challenges ahead.
And I'm glad that I took these challenges professionally albeit tormentedly and managed to scrape an average result through all of it.
I admit I've never been a very bright child, neither do I have the desire to compete with my friends to get THE BEST!
Sometimes to the extent of ruining the friendship.
But I do try my hardest to give my best effort in delivering what I'm required to.
Maybe that's the problem.. Doing things without passion and merely to deliver the job.
I've realised this a few years ago and thought that it wouldn't really bother me..
Until now...
Finally, I'm getting tired of doing things impassionately. I WANT TO


Be in a field where I have passion in.
Wake up every morning thinking "YEAY!!! ANOTHER BEAUTIFUL DAY!"
Do whatever I'm doing while whistling, humming and smiling
Put on my real face instead of wearing a mask
Enjoy and able to tell my friends, without hesitation, that I love whatever I'm doing
To see my life without regrets in the future


All of that and MORE!
But, life isn't always so ideal.
Plus, my idea of career is something out of the ordinary???
Moreover, I have my own responsibilities
And parent's expectations to live up to.
Like what he said "Life is not ideal. If it's more ideal.."
If only...
So, I've decided to look on the positive sides of my current choosing
And it's kind of appealing...
Like.. able to get good money
Then maybe, I can pursue my dreams after that.
And to him, I've already tried talking to my parents
And they just gave the same answer...
Told you it won't work.
Hee.. But, it's okay I guess.

Sleepover!!!

Had a sleepover session in Natasha's house last 2 days. BECAUSE MY FRIEND - CHRISSY JUST CAME BACK FROM INDIA. So we decided to have a get together to catch up on each others' life. And I also needed something to divert my mind from it's current state. Without us realising it, we've missed 4 years. And 6 years of friendship. Hee..

I guess everyone changed a lot... Naturally. Must get out of my naïvete assuming that nothing changes. And Chrissy is so innocent. I thought that she would be cheekier and more naughty compared to me.. But it looks like it's the other way around. She is such a good girl. Haha.. And I thought those kind of people faced extinction.

We watched some horror movies. And none of it scared me that badly. Haih... Namely, "Unborn", "Coming Soon" & "Devil in Flesh 2". But, I have to admit that they have an understandable plot. Compared to some other horror movies that will make your mind go blank at the end of the story. Oh yah, we also watched latest "Friday the 13th".. And sadly, it didn't get any better compared to the previous seasons. The theme is kill. And the end leads to another season of Friday the 13th. And it's really gruesome... Hmm.. And I thought I saw the last season of it where Jason became a small boy again peacefully and reincarnated. =/

Anyway, it was kind of nice hanging out with 2 of my pals. Hehe.. Basically, Chrissy just finished her A-levels and is now choosing the path of her future. She thought of business. But decided against it and chose Food Technology instead. She also thought of Medicine but it would require a very very VERY long time for her to build up the career and build her own name in the world. Not to mention her cash flow. Haha.. And now, after listening to Natasha's law career experience, she's interested in it.

Honestly, I've been interested in taking the law career since young. But, after discovering that my memory is not that excellent, I decided to opt for other careers that requires lesser memorising skill. Hehe.. But, the idea of law has always intrigued my interest in it. And having a friend who's in that field is fun. She tells me about whatever happens in UK, US, India and also all the injustice done to the citizens such as putting an innocent behind the bars and waste their 10 years of life is such damned place. To me, being a lawyer is a very noble job. But it can also be a cursed job.

At night, we indulged ourselves in a little drink. Chrissy can't even take Jolly Shandy and I had to finish that up. Natasha got drunk after a small little mug of Carlsberg. Which leaves me finishing up the rest 500 ml. Duh.. Luckily I'm not easily drunk. I remembered to fill my tummy with food. Past experience taught me a lot. >.<... So, I and Chrissy had to control the drunken woman. It's real hard work. Haha.. Somehow, I wished I were drunk the other day so that I can forget all the worries and so many stuffs residing in my tiny brain. It's a torture - saddening myself to bed every night.

Then, we went to bed. It was kind of hard for me to sleep. I keep waking up at the slightest sound. Duh.. I didn't have a good sleep.

Finally, it was time for us to leave the next day. Natasha's mum(Auntie Rose) is really nice. She cooked for us and she felt guilty for not being able to provide us food when we were about to leave. But, she still offered some lamb and chicken to us. And we whacked it nicely. Nyummy~~~! Thanks to both daughter and mother. I'll be sure to come back. Hee..

Anyway, Nat's house is a double storey terrace and I noticed something.. That I wouldn't come to adore big house as much as I did before. Also, I would not come to like sleeping alone in my own room. Because, it's so hard for people to communicate in big houses. Shouts can be heard all over the house whenever anyone need help with something. ==".. And you have to run here and there to get to the destined places. PLUS if ever your phone is not with you... I'll be gone case when I need it. Haha.. Also, it's kind of scary sleeping alone in a big house. I guess I'm starting to dislike loneliness.. I'm so in it nowdays. With noone to talk to when you need someone so desperately. As we age.. Everything drifts away. Even if it's your most treasured. Everyone has their own lives and their time are so occupied. But I also need the loneliness at times. Hee... However, spending a 2 days with 2 of my pals is refreshing. My burden has lifted.. in a way. Hehe... I'll be looking forward to the next meeting. XD.

Oh.. And I'm having my Sem3 exams this week! All the best to all the candidates~~~ And I need equally the same wish. Hahx..

The bitter and the sweets

Time flies by so fast and now it's already the 6^th week of my third sem as well as other fellow UTARians who's in their third sem. Come tomorrow and it's going to be the last week for us to be together before we enter our study week and obviously... Sem 3 finals!


Throughout my one year in UTAR, I've come across many types of people. Namely, the ones whom I like and there are those that I dislike.


There are those people that are willing to go the distance to help out and shoulder their responsibilities well BUT there are those that shrink away from their responsibility and wouldn't even bother lifting one eye at you if it's not their problem. There are those special cases where they wouldn't do anything and wait for things to drop on their laps (eventhough it's concerning very important things to them) and there are those who will push their responsibilities to others to do when actually, they are very free and the task they have won't even take half an hour to finish it up. Then, they would come up to you and tell how tired they are although in reality, the work he/she does is not even half of the assignment while others who is dying for the assignments wouldn't even complain.


Yah, it's common phenomenon when we are assigned to do group assignments. That's why I prefer individual assignments although it's hell of a tougher to do. But, group assignments are very enjoyable when you get good teamwork between your members.


There are also victims who would get blamed for everything in an assignment because that particular person is already branded as "not likable" or for other personal problems. Something like a prejudice. Although that person has tried his best, it's just not enough and he has to go the extra mile.


I would like to thank those who has helped me a lot throughout this year, namely:

There are also those who are nice and helped me although I can't be considered as a friend to them - Senior Adrin and Cel.

Oh yah, not to mention the ungrateful person whom I have introduced to the PMP programme and then forgotten me when it is him who didn't approach me although I've time and again mentioned "Do find me when you have any problems". Honestly, just because I'm your mentor, doesn't mean I have to dog at your heels every waking milisecond of my life. I have my own life to live. I guess I'm just a bad mentor. I'll try to avoid being one in the future. The more I know about humans, the more they irk me. That's the kind that the world could do better without.

To others whom I've not mentioned, I love you guys a lot too. You guys added colours to my life~~~ Without you, my life at college wouldn't be as colourful.

Thanks for all those activities you accompanied me to when noone is interested.

Thanks for all those food we have although I've gotten fatter.

Thanks for telling me so many tales about you and keep me amused.

Save The Last Dance For Me~

Saturday was the last dance we had. That's real sad. We only had 6 classes this time!! T.T.. And I don't know that it's the last lesson we're having. OMG!!! I'm really going to miss Miss and Sir. Too bad we can't have dinner with them as they had their own plans. >.<... And sadly enough, we might not be having any more dance classes with them because all our seniors will be real busy soon. As it will be their last year and thus, final projects will occupy their time.

After our classes, it was already 7.30 p.m...? And we went to station 1 for food after aimlessly walking around in Jaya One. Haha.. Again.. Forgotten to have a photo session with them. ARGH!!! Those are Senior Adrin Wong (very gentlemen and very nice), Shannon (fellow Banananian), Terry (quiet guy. >.<..) and Camelia (Got to know her name yesterday only)..

Then, me & Ken had to leave early because don't have a car. And it's already 9!!! But, we had a nice time requesting songs for the band in Station 1, which none got aired by them. *Piff*.. Sadzzzz

As soon as we got into bus, Ken camwhored!!! HAHAHA!!! A rare thing. Because I brought out the camera~~~

Finally at 10.15p.m.~ We reached Central Market. Really quiet and peaceful. First time I've seen such peace in KL. Hehx.. Don't miss out the chance~

Nyonya Food~

Honestly, if I take the same bus back home everyday with Ken, you guys are definitely going to see a different me... namely expanded size. Why??? Because he is never full. And keeps on hunting for food. ><... That day, he was asking, "Where got nice food ar?". And since we tried both the Mamaks outside of Central Market, I brought him into Central Market. After circling around, we went into the Food Court. Which has changed a lot! It is re-decorated and it looks nicer and more comfortable compared to what it used to b... 1 year back I guess? After taking our tour, we finally settle on Nyonya Food~~~

Haha.. They are really nice. And Ken ate until his face went red. And he was also sweating like a pig! WAKAKAKAKA! Because these nyonya foods are really spicy . ><.. But it's really delicious of you can eat spicy foods. Too bad I forgotten to take pictures of the food court. ><..

And I recall one of out conversation the on Friday. It was in Lai Foong.. Lol.. Having another lunch after our classes.

Ken: Nana.. If got chance, try and enter those eating program la next time?

Me: You mean like Jalan-Jalan Cari Makan?

Ken: Yah Yah..

Me: No lor please.. You want to me to become fat like an elephant.. like you ar???

Ken: ==... One week once only mar.. Not everyday also

Me: Oh.. Yah hor.. Somemore free food. People sponsor somemore. Good la.. can save food money for my other expenses.

Ken: ==..

Me: Coming out with you almost everyday also enough already lar.. You establish eating society lar..

Have to thank Ken a lot for being my activity partner and doing loadsa crazy things with me. Tahan my 38-ness and being equally as 38. Eheh.. And also thanks to you for bringing me out of the darkness with your 38-ness. Our laughter means a lot to me. Good luck with your A***e orh. WAKAKAKAK!!!
