God's Creation??? or not...

There's this case of whether human is an evolution of ape or not. You know, Charles Darwin said that humans are evolution of ape. But some say that humans are naturally God's creation. Now, it's heatedly debated in Sunday StarMag!!! Go follow it up. Against Charles Darwin or With Charles Darwin. It's your say!!! Every Sunday yar~~~ StarMag. It's been debated since last 2 weeks. Today is the 3rd week~~~

With Natasha

Yah, went out with her 3 days before Valentines to Times Square. While waiting for Arthur, she suggested that we go to the Foto Studio to take our pictures. And I agreed since it's so fun. Hee~~~ I personally love the fourth picture with Hamtaro. Really cute and crazy. Haha!!! It took some effort to come out with crazy poses. Haha..
Then I went to her house on Monday. I love her house. Super nice!!! Super pretty!!! And her room is really cosy~~~ Except the fact that her room is all red, it's ok. It's spacious. And her room is so comfy. We spent our day sleeping on the bed and reading which is our favourite past time. She borrowed me Nicholas Spark's - At First Sight. I highly recommend this book. Really nice. OMG!!! I even cried like shit at the end. The ending is kind of unexpected larhh.. That's why it took me by suprise and therefore, I cried like hell. T.T...
Thought of crashing her place again sometime this week and stay overnight. But, mummy hardly lets. And me also lazy want to go out. Haha.. Anyway, it's a real change for me this semester break. I'm lazing around at home. Since I've been working everytime there's semester break, this time is really a good change. Lazing around at home. Reading. Eating. Sleeping.. Heaven. Really have to treasure it a lot since next semester break will be no more lazing around. I need to work to get $$$ or I'll face bancruptcy individually. Hehe..

After so long~~~

17th February 2009
Chee Kian wanted to see me after so long of not seeing each other. Oh well, what to do.. He misses me too much. Wakakaka.. Don't kill me Chee Kian. Hahx. So, we decided to go to Neway Karaoke in Times Square because he always didn't get the chance to sing much on other times since he doesn't understand Chinese. And since me and Darling also don't understand Chinese, we are glad to bomb the karaoke box with English songs. He doesn't sing much also. And I love the Pokemon song sang by M2m - Don't Say You Love Me. Hee~~~ Basically, the karaoke box was dominated by Darling the other day. Haha... Ok, let's not let me elaborate. And there are no pictures to prove point. XD...
And since Lynnett can't make it since she had group project till 6, we went to meet up with her in Pavilion at around 7 p.m.. Had our dinner in food court. And went Esprit since Lynnett wants to do shopping with Darling's Esprit card. She had this nice shirt. And not so nice handbag in my opinion. Hahax.. But I love her shirt.
Then, went back at around 9.30. Sent Chee Kian back home. Nice seeing you dude. It's been a long time since we've had a nice talk. And tell you what, we got lost on our way home because Vicki refused to take the route that labels "Kuala Lumpur". We reached Cheras. Had to ask way twice. ><... So, we reached home at around 10.30 p.m. Haha.. But, I was enjoying the journey of lost. Haha... Because that place is really beautiful. Especially the uniqueness of the houses. Haha... Darling was kind of frustrated with me because I seem to be enjoying getting lost. XD..
Anyway, that day was really nice. Love it totally. Because my guilt has lessened a little bit since Chee Kian and Darling are talking again. It's really sweet seeing them joking around. Brings back memories.

3rd Valentines <333

Oh.. Don't mind the words "moments with Dominic Vick '09". We took the pictures with his Cybershot camera. So, he got the pictures first-hand and he didn't come online which means I can't get the original pictures from him. I would've waited until I get the original pictures before i post up this post, but I think I should update my blog already before it starts to go dead again. XD..
Yeah, so, this is our third Valentines together and it's been a month plus since we've seen each other. Oh well, busy with out own lives. ><"""... I wonder if others girls would wilt and crumble to dust if they're in my place. I happen to come across a few girls who needs to talk to or see their guy everyday. Anyway, after so long of not seeing him, i finally understand what's the meaning of so near yet so far. Because I know that he's always there for me and physically, he's beside me. But, he seems alien to me for that moment. There's so many things I don't know about him for that past one month and I want to know. Like, how's he's been. Any problems lately??? But, I guess it would be a little bit too foolish of me. So, to lighten up the mood, I started rambling on and on which is my specialty. ><... It really needs a lot of work to ramble so much you know? XD..
I decided to go One Utama. The place is not as happening as I thought. A bit quiet but I guess it's ok overall. We went to have chocolate at Chocolate Lounge. I didn't know my Dark chocolate Mug n' Warmer will be so sweet like normal chocolate because dark chocolates are supposed to be on the bitter side. Who says all girls like sweet chocolates? But then again, I'm barely categorized as a pure girl by my classmates. Haha... And even Elephant Ken know my biggest secret. Hahaha!!! We also managed to exchange our gifts there. This is truly exchanging gifts. XD
Then we went to the arcade. We thought of watching movie. And there's a lot of new movie I can use some catching up with. But, it's too boring sitting in the theatre. So, we decided against it and went to the arcade instead. Haha.. We played the game where Darling is best at... Dancing Remix. Where you need to move the hand. Haha.. I even took a few snapshots to remember the moment. But, too bad I can't upload it since it's not with me. =(..
By the way, Darling really shrunk a lot in both posture and size. I didn't know his constant working out at the gym would result in this. Anyway, just don't overwork yourself yar. Oh yah, he even got a piercing and had a new hairstyle. I call it Rihanna hairstyle. But it looks good on him. It's not really that Rihanna lar. I just want to frust him only. XD...
These are the pics we took~~~
L.O.V.E spells Love~~~Me with the bear bear he gave me. He asked me to pose with it and walk around One utama albeit knowing that I'm so shy to walk around with a PDA symbol in my hand. Haha.. He knows better than to give flowers. XD...
And in return... He needs to pose with it. And the salesgirl and DJ is laughing. WAKAKAKA... Revenge is so sweet~~~
Then, we went to Mid Valley to have dinner. Spaghetti Grills is a real nice place. The only place with reasonable price when everyone is trying to put a hole in your pocket. Haha..

Me and Lynnett~ MuaxXx~~~ My Valentine date since 6 years ago. Hahax~~~

Oookayyyyyy... No comments. XD..

Lynnett and her boyfriend - Simon. Haha... Funny guy and cute girl.

Cool pose???
And then, it's camwhoring session. Oh wait.. It's been camwhoring session since the start. Now is advertisement.
Lynnett with tumbler~

Me with serviette. ><"""..

Yah.. It's Darling with camera casing.

Our hero!!! HAHA... Simon with Heineken coaster.
So, how's your Valentine everyone? I hope it's a happy one. ^^

Enneagram Test

I was reading other peoples blog the other day. Then came across Chee Kian's blog and saw this Enneagram Test. Looks interesting~~~ So I decided to take the test. Anyway, I got this enneagram test link from JL's blog.

Enneagram Type 5 - The Investigator

Thinkers who tend to withdraw and observe

People of this personality type essentially fear that they don't have enough inner strength to face life, so they tend to withdraw, to retreat into the safety and security of the mind where they can mentally prepare for their emergence into the world. Fives feel comfortable and at home in the realm of thought. They are generally intelligent, well read and thoughtful and they frequently become experts in the areas that capture their interest. While they are sometimes scientifically oriented, especially with the Six wing, just as many Fives are drawn to the humanities and it is not at all uncommon for Fives to have artistic inclinations. Fives are often a bit eccentric; they feel little need to alter their beliefs to accommodate majority opinion, and they refuse to compromise their freedom to think just as they please. The problem for Fives is that while they are comfortable in the realm of thought, they are frequently a good deal less comfortable when it comes to dealing with their emotions, the demands of a relationship, or the need to find a place for themselves in the world. Fives tend to be shy, nonintrusive, independent and reluctant to ask for the help that others might well be happy to extend to them.

Fives are sensitive; they don't feel adequately defended against the world. To compensate for their sensitivity, Fives sometimes adopt an attitude of careless indifference or intellectual arrogance, which has the unfortunate consequence of creating distance between themselves and others. Trying to bridge the distance can be difficult for Fives, as they are seldom comfortable with their social skills, but when they do manage it, they are often devoted friends and life long companions.

Fives are usually somewhat restrained when it comes to emotional expression, but they often have stronger feelings than they let on. Few people know what is going on beneath the surface, as Fives have an often exaggerrated need for privacy and a deep seated fear of intrusion. Because of their sensitivity and their fears of inadequacy, Fives fear being overwhelmed, either by the demands of others or by the strength of their own emotions. They sometimes deal with this by developing a minimalistic lifestyle in which they make few demands on others in exchange for few demands being made on them. Other Fives make their peace with the messiness of life and engage it more fully, but they almost always retain their fears that life is somehow going to demand more of them than they can deliver.

Fives, especially with the Four wing, sometimes mistype themselves as Fours. Such Fives recognize that they have strong emotions and don't identify with the often extremely cerebral portrait of type Five. But, Fives, unlike Fours, always retain some degree of discomfort when it comes to the expression of their emotional states. However much facility they may gain with it, the language of emotion is not their native tongue.

Peer Mentoring Programme~

Exams finally finished yesterday. Went to celebrate it in One Utama with Elephant Ken, May, Joyce, Ching, Pei Wen and also Hock Heng. K.A.R.A.O.K.E~~~ Woot~~~ Will update out outing soon since the picture is not with me and I'm at UTAR!!!
Gosh.. I still have to go back to UTAR considering that I've finished my exams. Didn't get enough sleep. Didn't have breakfast and skipped dinner last night. >.<""".. Was having mild headache. Nothing serious though. It's nice to know that I can feel these kind of things since I consider myself steely most of the time. Hehx!!!
Anyway, why am I at UTAR??? Had to meet up with my mentees of counselling club. Haha.. Just only met up with Wai Leong. Haha.. He looks like small boy which reminds me of Sunny~~~ XD... Waiting in the computer lab until 12 to meet up with Teng Eng and hafta wait for another 45 minutes until 1 to meet Shalini K.
Now killing time by blogging randomly and chatting with Ching Yong. Haha.. He's the only one online. Where are the others??? T.T... Holidays le~~~ Online lar!!!

*wants so badly to plop down on the bed and black out.

Love is in the air~~~

Yup. Love is really in the air~!~!~!
The thing with this lovely day is... It has a deeper meaning to the 14th February than meet the eyes. I found out quite long ago, but finally got the chance to blog about it today. Let's turn back time... Which means we have to read a bit of History. One of the troublesome subjects, but History of Valentine's doesn't seem that bad to me. XD... Here goes...
It's said that in the Rome of ancient times people observed a holiday on February 14th to honor Juno - the Queen of Roman Gods and Goddesses which is also regarded as the Goddess of Women and Marriage. Next day, February 15th began the fertility festival called 'Feast of Lupercalia'. The festival of Lupercalia was celebrated to honor the Gods Lupercus and Faunus - the Roman God of Agriculture besides the legendary founders of Rome, Romulus and Remus.
A custom followed where young girls and boys were brought together where they are normally separated. Names were drawn from the jar where girls draw a boy's name and vice-versa. They will then pair up for the duration of Lupercalia. Sometimes, the couple will pair up until the next season of Lupercalia and often, the couple will fall in love and get married to each other.

Okok.. I know this is not actually Juno. But, she's a really pretty anime Goddess. I'm fascinated with beautiful creatures. XD

Here comes the point:

Emperor Claudius II Rome cancelled marriages because he thinks that the reason that men did not join the army is because of their family.

Then, priest of Rome, Saint Valentine who is a romantic at heart defied Claudius's unjustified order and secretly married couples with the help of St. Marius. When his defiance was discovered, he was brutally beaten and put to death on 14th February about 270 A.D.
There's also another version saying that Valentine was killed because he attempted to help Christians escape from the Roman prison as they were being tortured and beaten.

As usual, legend has it's million versions and this is another version, where in prison Valentine or Valentinus fell in love with jailer's daughter who visited him during confinement. Before his death Valentine wrote a farewell letter to his sweetheart from the jail and signed ‘From your Valentine'.

Lupercalia is then brought forward to February 14 in the Middle Ages. Around 498 AD, Pope Gelasius declared February 14 as St. Valentine's Day to honor the martyr Valentinus and to end the pagan celebration.
Anyway, now that Valentine is around the corner, there must be a lot of girls and boys of various ages hunting for presents. And the most popular one is of course the flower. I was walking in Petaling Street the other day and there was this crowd in this floral boutique looking at the flowers. And this is also the right time for the bosses to slaughter the customers by increasing the prices. Haha... Maybe we should consider buying the flowers earlier, keep it until Valentines Day. Which is almost very hard to do since the flowers will wilt. >.<"""...

There is also another alternative for Valentines' Day gift for your loved ones. Namely, rings and necklaces. There's also keychain. Rings are especially good if you want to propose. XD..

This is actually a paperweight. Hahax~

However, the simplest is also the best which is the chocolates. Mmm... Nyum Nyum. Valentines' all about the chocolate, isn't it??? The most traditional gift and also the sweetest gift.

If you want something more special, can go to http://www.msn.com/ to browse for more Valentine's gifts. Haha... I think matching t-shirts and watches are also in demand now. Saw this Swatch pinky lovey watch in the The Star newspaper days ago.. Interested anyone???

This is not actually the one i promoted. But, this one looks really sweet and nice.

For those who are single out there, don't be sad. Valentine is also celebrated with family and friends nowadays. For those who are going to confess, all the best. May St. Valentines be with you. XD... As for those happily matched couples, create another history of a memorable Valentine's Day yar~~~

Change Your Thinking

Got this from Richmond in my mail. I find it interesting. ^^.

Two men, both seriously ill, occupied the same hospital room.

One man was allowed to sit up in his bed for an hour each afternoon to help drain the fluid from his lungs.

His bed was next to the room's only window.

The other man had to spend all his time flat on his back.

The men talked for hours on end.

They spoke of their wives and families, their homes, their jobs, their involvement in the military service, where they had been on vacation.

Every afternoon, when the man in the bed by the window could sit up, he would pass the time by describing to his roommate all the things he could see outside the window.

The man in the other bed began to live for those one hour periods where his world would be broadened and enlivened by all the activity and color of the world outside.

The window overlooked a park with a lovely lake. Ducks and swans played on the water while children sailed their model boats. Young lovers walked arm in arm amidst flowers of every color and a fineview of the city skyline could be seen in the distance.

As the man by the window described all this in exquisite details, the man on the other side of the room would close his eyes and imagine this picturesque scene.

One warm afternoon, the man by the window described a parade passing by. Although the other man could not hear the band - he could see it in his mind's eye as the gentleman by the window portrayed it with descriptive words.

Days, weeks and months passed.

One morning, the day nurse arrived to bring water for their baths only to find the lifeless body of the man by the window, who had died peacefully in his sleep. She was saddened and called the hospital attendants to take the body away.

As soon as it seemed appropriate, the other man asked if he could be moved next to the window. The nurse was happy to make the switch, and after making sure he was comfortable, she left him alone.

Slowly, painfully, he propped himself up on one elbow to take his first look at the real world outside. He strained to slowly turn to look out the window besides the bed.

It faced a blank wall.

The man asked the nurse what could have compelled his deceased roommate who had described such wonderful things outside this window.

The nurse responded that the man was blind and could not even see the wall.

She said, 'Perhaps he just wanted to encourage you.'

Epilogue: There is tremendous happiness in making others happy, despite our own situations. Shared grief is half the sorrow, but happiness when shared, is doubled. If you want to feel rich, just count all the things you have that money can't buy.

'Today is a gift, that is why it is called The Present.' The origin of this letter is unknown, but it brings good luck to everyone who passes it on.

Study Group?!?!

Yah.. Our study group. 2 pictures that show that we really studied!!! Look at how messy our table is. HAHAHA!!!
phyiscs!!! physics!!! physics!!! urgh...

And this??? =.="... Haha... we get bored after some time. So, we started scribbling. One of our masterpiece.
Artist: Elephant Ken
Carption: Christina. XD.. except the tortoise part. >.<

Happy Moo-Moo Year~~~

I didn't post any blog about Chinese New Year 2009 because my Chinese New Year this year is not really as happening as previous years. So, I will post something about Chinese New Year. Some other person's Chinese New Year. Haha...
It was a week before Chinese New Year and I've practically done my CNY shopping earlier. But, adding new clothes to my collection is most welcome. Haha.. On Monday(19 January 2009) after our extra Chemistry class in UTAR, Ken wants to go for his CNY shopping. He actually brought a lot of clothes already the day before. But, being a vain guy, he wants to buy more. So, he pulled me along with him to Mid Valley. I could use a day out shopping also. I thought of not going at first because Ye Vone is going along already. I don't want to be "lamp post". Haha.. But, alas... what the heck. I just tagged along. And I think she's not too happy with my presence there. >.<""".

These are the decoratings of CNY Mid Valley, really nice le~~~ Maybe because I didn't have the opportunity to go to other shopping centres to see their decorations. =.=""".

Our first stop was the food court. I ate the Nata De Coco. Didn't have any solid filling food. Haha.. Ye Vone ordered this mixed rice. And the fish was bad. She said. Then Ken tried and he repelled immediately. The fish was left alone there. *Amen*

Then, Ye Vone went somewhere alone. She asked us not to wait for her and go shop. And so, that's what we did. XD... Our first stop, Samuel&Kelvin. The last time i went here was with darling last year. Haha... Also looking for trousers and shirts. Anyway, this was the only shop he bought something. XD..

And after that, it was all window shopping. He asks a lot of opinion, but alas, he wouldn't purchase it. Haha... Basically because the clothes don't really look good on him. One was like pajamas(according to Ye Vone). And others he's not interested.

And then... Everywhere was 50% off. Especially my beloved Padini Authentics. ARGH!!! Should've brought extra cash. Sei Ken!!!

2 pictures before we left Mid Valley. Haha..

Yeah Ken!!! I'm gaying you. And definitely you'll be the best pilot. Lepas my aeroplane, you can get award already. Say want RO!!!??? RO your head lar!
*Friends.. always there when you need them

Finally~~~

Whee~~~ Basically, major subjects of my exams are over. Left only public speaking which is not as scary as MathsII, ChemII or PhysicsII. Yah... Basically, these 3 subjects are well known killer subjects. So, how did i manage it???
I think my PhysicsII paper can tuck safely into the rubbish bin already. *sobs*.. Studied that subject the earliest and yet, the subject which i have the least confidence in. Haihz..
MathsII was still okay lar... Nothing to complain much. I totally forgot about Poisson!!! And I read about it like hell a minute before i enter the examination hall. T.T... Luckily it doesn't contain killer marks. And I was in such a bad condition that I left 2 blank pages. Didn't notice that and thought I ran out out paper. Asked the invigilator for another extra booklet. >.<.. Hope examiner is not irritated and won't minus my marks. Haha~~~
ChemII was also kind of OK. Least one to complain about except the last question. I'm so bad at memorizing that I forgot some of the reagant and conditions needed for some of the reaction.. Main problem is also because I don't know the reaction. Whether is it esterification or what. But, I think the reagant is correct. Just that all the conditions I just wrote: "Heat with concentrated sulphuric acid". Haha~~~ At least will kena one of the 4 reactions lar. XD..
This time, the finals is really taking it's toll on me already. Got sick a little bit. It's kinda suffering waking up in the morning with that very bad feeling in your whole mouth and throat and nose. It's like so dry. Cough also got that dryness. Especially when you are taking the exams.. With the flu. Sobbing and sobbing. Scrubbing and scrubbing the eyes. ARGH!!!!! But, it's all cool because I'm such a great person that I managed to sail through the paper. WAKAKAKAAK!!! But don't know whether is it correct or not. Hee..
Anyway God, I'm sure you sailed through the paper as smoothly as... taufu??? No matter what you write in your blog. Lol.. The God I'm talking about is Sunny~~~ Oklar.. Don't want to call you God already lar... Superhuman then. XD..
*This one month is adding to my heartache.

Prepare for WAR!!!

Tomorrow is THE day.. Or should I say today. It starts at precisely 9.00 a.m. and will all it's soldiers will drop their knives and surrender at 11.00 a.m.. Haha..
Fine. Fine.. It's getting a bit dramatic. Actually, it's just my Semester 2 finals. Luckily, it started off pretty mild. I'm taking Writing for Science tomorrow. The heavy subjects comes on wednesday, thursday, friday and saturday. Seriously... My head is going to burst.
Luckily for this semester, Sunny the God is posting up help in his blog.
I made early preparation with Ken the Elephant.
And basically, everything is not that bad.

Ok.. I admit everything is not so perfect lar...
There's still some subjects I'm struggling with.
And I do have other matters in hand other than my finals.

Chinese New Year was so-so for me. I notice that loads of people have a fall in their red packets' income due to economic crisis. Mine increased because my grandma gave me more than usual. @@.. My bro and I were kind of shocked. Haha... Didn't visit much this year. Just went back to my dad's side of the family to celebrate.
I've also been thinking a lot. Was half upset about it. But, it's all OK. I'm glad I have such nice and supportive people around me. Ken helped me out when I really needed help with my problem. And also Shal. Thanks guys. Didn't know Ken's elephant brain can function so good. Haha!!! And Lynn is now prying my emo-ness from my previous blog. But, thanks for caring. Really love you guys
So, I guess I'm all geared up for tomorrow's war. All the best to all of those who are taking the exams. Ganbatte~~~!!!!

*as long as you've tried your best, win or lose is still winning*
