Meeting with buddies~

The 1st week of my semester holiday was a break-away from the hustle and bustle life in KL to Genting. It was really enjoyable and refreshing~~~ It's another memorable event to me. I hope I'll be able to blog about it.
And my 2nd week of semester holidays is just as fun. I had 3 days of fun catching up with 3 of my greatest pals including another one of my pal's bf. They are...

Lynn and Simon~
Beloved BP and Lynn

Teh Chee Kian~~~ Sorry for stealing ur photo. WAKAKAKA!

I managed to find a temporary 3 days work thanks to BP in AP Corp. Honestly, working in the telemarketing line is frustrating. Let's not talk so much about it. You can read it from BP's blog.

So, on the 2nd day of work in the Northpoint Offices in Mid Valley, I met up with Lynn & Simon. Hehe... It's really sweet seeing both of them and I admit I miss them LOADS!!!

HOW CAN I NOT MISS THEM?!?!?! ONE IS MY FRIEND OF 6 YEARS AND STILL COUNTING. ANOTHER IS THE GOSSIP QUEEN!!!

The gossip queen here is Simon. Yeap.. He gossips more than Lynn. Fu-yoh!!! I really admire him. I can use some of his skills. Hahax!!! But, he's really nice and funny. He treated us to Nando's~~~ And he spoilt the steel rooster attached to the railings. ==

Lynn & Simon was doing most of the talking and it's real fun hearing to them. About their college lives, friends and lecturers. The not so cheery me was hyped up after listening to them. Lol.. That's how powerful they are. And they said that I was stressed because I was babbling things that doesn't make sense. Lol...

Then, we went to have a pearl milk tea. And to the arcade, seeing Simon playing Initial D, 3 of us racing in Daytona USA. And get cheated by Photohunt. I still think that the Photohunt in MV arcade cheats RM1. We only played for 1 minute. And it's certainly not our skill problem. I spent 15 minutes at the Photohunt in Genting. LOL!!!

Lynn drove me back. Hee... With Simon, we didn't lose our way. XD..

Then, for the 3rd day of my work, I went to One Hotel near One Utama~~~

Here, I met BP who's working alongside me and managed to get to know Chun Li!!! Her real name sounds similar to Chun Li, so, BP decided to call her that. Haha... Ken & Chun Li was always battling with each other throughout the 9 hours of work. Streetfighters hero marh.. LOL.. My legs are crying because I don't have a formal black heels. So, had to borrow Lynn's black Mary Jane's shoes. IT'S BLOODY 4 INCHES! Yah, I know she warned me, but I really have no other choice. *sob*

Anyway, it was an experience working in this line as the event helper. Got to know so many kind of people. And BP was always taking care of me. As if I'm tofu. Chieh.. Haha.. Yala yala.. I know you're nice and want to care about your friend over here. XD..

And, I got to know about his college life which is not as colourful. I kind of took pity on him, but I'm sure the bloodiness in him will pull him through all of this. GAMBATTE BP!!! I'm sure you can do it~~~ Hee.. We went to a not-so-nearby mamak in KL and started talking again. Haha... I'm gonna miss him again...

And when I'm not working, I went for another Nando's meal by Chee Kian. ><.. I had a fate with the rooster. LOL!!! Went back to my old school. Reminisced while walking up the school. Haha.. Like "A Walk To Remember". Saw back my old teachers. Thinking how time passes by as they've changed physically. And looking at the mirror, thinking the same thing looking at myself. Seeing my old friends, and thinking how they've changed too. Haha.. Suddenly had a crave for ice-cream and got one from the same "pak cik" 2 years ago. Guess some things never change. Hee..

Then, met up with Chee Kian and walked to Nando's. I'm so gonna kill him. I crossed the road halfway and went back to the same point ALL BECAUSE OF HIM!!! I'm lucky to be alive. Lol.. It's because I'm blurry also larrr.. I misunderstood him. But it's easier to put the blame on him. Hehx..

And then, we had the Peri Kick-Starter in Nando's. Made him eat more. You'll see why when you see his size. Similar to that of a bone. The waitress was really nice and sweet. Saw a few MBS Form 6 gals. Talked a bit on that. Talked about his classmates which he really enjoys talking about. I personally think that this guy has cheered up a lot. Although still quite pessimistic.

Then, we went to the Bakery Shop to get some pistachio.. Which I wrongly pronounced as pimpachio to the lady. And she gave me the looks that says "this gal is mad". *sob* Haih... Alas got some almonds. Anyway, I didn't take him to stroll around the garden as I know the way. Have confident in me a bit okay??? Hmff...

Haha.. And that ends my beloved 3rd week. I really miss them a lot. I was really happy seeing them at last. And catching up on stuffs. Muahaha.. And managed to bully them along the way. Honestly, you should cherish your friends. Thanks a lot to you guys. MuaxXx~~~

*love ya all~~~*

Happy Moo-Moo Year~~~

I didn't post any blog about Chinese New Year 2009 because my Chinese New Year this year is not really as happening as previous years. So, I will post something about Chinese New Year. Some other person's Chinese New Year. Haha...
It was a week before Chinese New Year and I've practically done my CNY shopping earlier. But, adding new clothes to my collection is most welcome. Haha.. On Monday(19 January 2009) after our extra Chemistry class in UTAR, Ken wants to go for his CNY shopping. He actually brought a lot of clothes already the day before. But, being a vain guy, he wants to buy more. So, he pulled me along with him to Mid Valley. I could use a day out shopping also. I thought of not going at first because Ye Vone is going along already. I don't want to be "lamp post". Haha.. But, alas... what the heck. I just tagged along. And I think she's not too happy with my presence there. >.<""".

These are the decoratings of CNY Mid Valley, really nice le~~~ Maybe because I didn't have the opportunity to go to other shopping centres to see their decorations. =.=""".

Our first stop was the food court. I ate the Nata De Coco. Didn't have any solid filling food. Haha.. Ye Vone ordered this mixed rice. And the fish was bad. She said. Then Ken tried and he repelled immediately. The fish was left alone there. *Amen*

Then, Ye Vone went somewhere alone. She asked us not to wait for her and go shop. And so, that's what we did. XD... Our first stop, Samuel&Kelvin. The last time i went here was with darling last year. Haha... Also looking for trousers and shirts. Anyway, this was the only shop he bought something. XD..

And after that, it was all window shopping. He asks a lot of opinion, but alas, he wouldn't purchase it. Haha... Basically because the clothes don't really look good on him. One was like pajamas(according to Ye Vone). And others he's not interested.

And then... Everywhere was 50% off. Especially my beloved Padini Authentics. ARGH!!! Should've brought extra cash. Sei Ken!!!

2 pictures before we left Mid Valley. Haha..

Yeah Ken!!! I'm gaying you. And definitely you'll be the best pilot. Lepas my aeroplane, you can get award already. Say want RO!!!??? RO your head lar!
*Friends.. always there when you need them

Embrace The New Year of 2009

HAPPY NEW YEAR.
Another welcome to another new year. Say goodbye to year 2008 and let's embrace 2009 with a positive thinking. Like the saying goes, "Fallen Flowers Can't Climb Back". So, let's try to forget all those sad, angry & frustrated moments we had and move on with our life. I guess that would be a whole lot better than to lament on our past too much which will lead to depression.
But, no matter what, memories are a part of us... In every human in fact that we should not try to erase all our memories. Especially those building and good memories that can make us smile when we reflect back. Imagine those who wants desperately to have their own memory and call them their memories but are unable to do so - Alzheimer patients. To them, "memories are the mind's way of gathering roses in the winter"---Sir Barrie.
Also, "Be The Best That You Can Be". A poem written by Douglas Malloch.
If you can't be s pine on the top of the hill,
Be a scrub in the valley - but be
The best little scrub by the side of the rill.
Be a bush, if you can't be a tree.
If you can't be a bush, be a bit of the grass,
And some highway happier make;
If you can't be a muskie, then just be a bass -
Be the liveliest bass in the lake!
We can't all be captains, we've got to be the crew,
There's something for all of us here.
There's big work to do and there's lesser to do
And the task we must do is near.
If you can't be a highway, then just be a trail,
If you can;t be the sun, be a starm
It isnt' by size that you win or fail -
Be the best of whatever you are
Martin Luther King once said;
"If a man is called to be a street-sweeper, he should sweep streets just as well as how Michelangelo painted, or how Beethoven composed music, or how Shakespeare wrote poetry. He should sweep streets so well that everyone will pause to say, 'here lived a great streer-sweeper who did his job well'".
Most of the time, we tend to undervalue the things we do. We always think that what the others doing are more important or better than what we're doing. We would think that what we're doing is nothing compared to what they are doing. This leads us to become demotivated with whatever we're doing and it is really not a good feeling. It's so negative that it could probably lead to us giving up in whatever we want to do in the future. Society attaches false values to many things in our lives. The most popular one being "lawyer is better than teacher". Maybe better in terms of salary??? But each of the function is equally important to each other.
-Credits to FAMP 1013 Public Speaking Team. Public speaking is enjoyable especially with these mind-opening quotes-
You have to tie the handkerchief to fit your head. Reality always sink in whenever we try to achieve our resolutions. But, try our best to achieve it and we can always accomplish at least half of what we've set up. This post is so philosophical... ZZzzzz... That's because I didn't go anywhere for New Year's Eve. Nothing to blog about and so, I've decided to torture my readers with this lengthy and philosophical post. XD!!! I miss my last year New Year with BP and the gang. Before this post ends... HAPPY NEW YEAR once again and may your New Year be a kick-start to a wonderful and fruitful year ahead.
My resolutions:
*Continue my studies and achieve good results. XD*
