Paso Doble

Went for dancing class today. I thought that we were to continue learning foxtrot. It took me by suprise when I heard a really really REALLY familiar Mexico bull-fighting song in the air. And the sir and miss started to perform Paso Doble steps.

This is a dance where the gal becomes the cape and the guy is the matador which is the leader. And Ken was joking that I was to be the bull. Zzzz.. And as usual, started making pig/bull faces.

This dance proven to be another challenging one. I think we're going to have challenging dances already. But, it's a really nice dance and I really like it. Really have to double my efforts to pick up with this dance.

I'm out of idea this week. Too much things in my mind. Been really restless these few days and there are no events except tests - which was okay. Although a lot of people says GG. Means Good Game. Which also means that it's the end. Dota players should know what it means. Haha.. Dota terms are being brought to reality. Even Ms. Quahci, my Management Studies lecturer is using it.

I'll try to update something interesting next week. Have a lot of assignments dateline this week. Thank God half is done. XD~~~

We'll always be there to support you~~~

Everyone in this life is filled with happiness.. Nonetheless, there are also people who will face problems whether they choose to, or not. There are people who always find for problem such as those who are to free and therefore, find something to mess around with. Examples are those trouble makers, drug addict, etc.. However, there are those unfortunate ones who will find themselves facing some problems that they try to avoid.

I came to know of this certain friend who is having problem right now. And I also realised that being sarcastic has its own consequences at times. Today, I felt guilty after my tongue slipped. And therefore, compelled to post this up. I also have a "beloved friend" to blame for not stopping my mouth in time, and only tell me after my tongue slipped. I've noticed that this certain friend has been moody for the past week. And, my "beloved friend" told me what's wrong with him. I'm not sure whether it's true or not, but it's kind of sad to see you moody.

Also to my "beloved friend" who is having some problems of his own, I hope he'll see the light soon. I've done all I can to counsel him. It breaks my heart to see the sadness and the gloominess in his face whenever the situation occurs. But, I think he's matured enough now to decide what to do for his best.

Lastly, I just want to say, me and all of your friends will always be here to support you. Try to express your feelings to us, so that we can share the burden. I'm sure it will be a relieve after you pour out your feelings. Maybe you think that you will burden us with your feelings, but I can assure you that I'm only glad to relieve you of your burden.
That's what friends are for right? To share and care. I pray that everything will be fine soon. Have faith, and everything will turn out fine. ^^

Hope is always available to us. When we feel defeated, we need only take a deep breath and say, "Yes," and hope will reappear. --- Monroe Forester

Purple Ribbon

The purple ribbon~
Muahahaha! Make Ken pose this.

I really love the classical interior design of the halls in Sunway Resort Hotel~~~ <3

Went to Sunway Resort Hotel for the Family Enrichment Programme hosted by YB Dato Seri Ng Yen Yen. Miss Phaveena asked a few UTARians to go, and I got selected. Proud~~~ Hahax.. I thought it's going to be a speech in English.. As it turns out, it's all in Mandarin. And even the brochure is in Chinese!!! Gosh.. How mortified I was. I felt as if I'm in Mars or Pluto. Okay.. That's a little bit too drastic. But somehow, I feel like I've travelled to France where they speak English but it's not their mother tongue. You feel quite lost, but not entirely. As my Mandarin is not really proficient - I can speak but not read - I can't read all the words but I can still handle the speech with Ken and Yoke Ha as my translator. Hehe.. Luckily, there's not only me as there's also Kenneth and Sunny who are as equally blur as me. XD..

When we're bored~~~ Ken, Me & Yoke Ha. Pictures never turn out right with Ken.

Compared this to that of the above.. This is so much nicer. XD

As expected, the youngsters feel bored after a while. The row behind me which is occupied by UTARians... excelled in magic. You see.. they were just behind me a few minutes ago and when I turned back after a few minutes, they were gone. Haha.. That proves that this kind of programme is not really suitable for youngsters. However, this programme is really useful for married couples as they talk about how to cope with family stress, how to build a happy family, how to maintain a happy family and those related to happy family. Then, I turned to the back row again, now occupied by Choo, Pei Wen, Hock Heng and Kar Wai.. and I saw...

LOL!

Yah, they were playing bingo. Maybe I'm mistaken.. Maybe they are jotting notes. But, they certainly are scribbling something on the piece of paper given to us. Then, I decided to play also.. with Ken and Yoke Ha. Haha..

Yoke Ha, Hock Heng, Ken & Me outside the toilet. XD

The true definition of a spacious washroom!!! As big as a condo unit.. I'm serious and I'm not exaggerating~~~

Views from the ladies~

When an hour passed 12, we were ushered into another room for lunch. And we thought it would be a normal lunch... with nasi lemak bungkus or something like that.. But, the meal is totally different from what we thought. Gosh... We had 6 course meal!!! And there are waiters serving us. Imagine that!!! I guess it's worth it after all. (there are those who commented on the cost of the meal...)

The Chinese Set Menu

2nd Dish - Dim Sum~~~

3th Dish - Roast Chicken

4th Dish - Fish with Pattaya Sauce.. Nyummylicious~~~

6th Dish - E-fu Noodles..
We played a game.. loser eats a mouthful of it. It's not really nice... =S

Sweet couple~~~ Sunny & Ashley ^^

Hock Heng~~~ Posing hunger with the food. XD. Pei Wen's face is blurred

Hock Heng & Sunny - the Penangites~~~ Truly enjoying their food with surpising speed

The Aftermath.. LOL!

After that, we changed clothes and fled. XD.. Kenneth, Liew, Sunny & Ashley had their own programme. Choo, Kar Wai, Pei Wen & Hock Heng went back. Which leaves me, Yoke Ha & Ken. We thought of going for ice-skating in Sunway Pyramid. But, it's crowded and we had to cancel our plan. This leaves Yoke Ha to go back home as her friends won't be able to make it to Sunway Pyramid; me and Ken going for our favourite dancing class. We had to stop by at Ken's house as he needs to get the car to drive us there. And, he has the chance to show off his piano skills. ==...

Our tiredness couldn't be any more obvious - we were practically struggling to catch up with the lesson as the class started an hour ago. There are a few changes in steps, tempo and also some add-in steps. I find it hard to concentrate and feel dizzy after a few spins of the foxtrot.. I pride myself in my energy level!!! Me and Ken were already dying by the time we were asked to partner up for the dance. Finally, we took our leave at half past 6. I got to go back home straightaway, but Ken has another programme he needed to attend. It's seriously a really tiring day. But fun nevertheless...

Energy level depletes faster nowadays. As I said before, I pride myself on my energy level!!! And my eyes are seriously malfunctioning. They start to ache and make me sleepy when night falls. And the hour is still early, namely 8. Seriously need some kind of drug to snap me out of it!!!

OhMiGoshTheyAreJustSoAwesome!!!

Doggies!!!

They are such awesome creatures. Dogs are my first and true love apart from horses, dolphins, wolves and mythical creatures. Haha... But I do have the most adorable and unique hamster at home. And I love it to death. Although he does get on my nerves at times. ><.. Anyway, I woke up today and started to google doggy pictures. And these are those pictures I managed to find online.. among others. And I do so love these elegant and big dogs. Except the pomeranian.. Haha.. I just thought that the pomeranian is a rea poser. So, I just decided to put it up. Hahax.. XD

Bernese Mountain Dogs are gentle, cheerful, intelligent and are natural watchdogs but nor overly dominant. They are also fairly friendly with strangers and like most big dogs, needs to be socialized since a puppy. They are also easy to train although slow to mature... being puppy-like for quite some time. However, they are a loyal dog, self-confident, alert and good-natured. Those who have an apartment are not advisable to have this dog as they are inactive indoors and they need a lot of exercises.

Border Collies are a gift from heaven for those who wants to achieve high ranking in sports as they are agile and very intelligent. These dogs should not be kept by those who does not plan to spend a lot of time with them as their intelligence will be wasted and they'll be destructive in the house. This shows that this dogs are very intelligent and needs ample exercise.

Very loyal, willing to please and quiet around the house. The Cane Corso is highly intelligent and very trainable. Active and even-minded, he is an unequalled watch and protection dog. The Cane Corso Italiano is great with children in the family. Docile and affectionate with the owner. They are protective yet gentle. The Cane Corso has a very stable temperament. It makes an excellent guard dog and watchdog. It will not wonder from the home. They stick close to their masters. If necessary he becomes a terrible and brave protector of people, house and property. The Cane Corso is not a fighting dog.

Lively and affectionate; proud, bold, and clownish. Curious and clever, can appear to be mischievous. They should not be over fed, for this breed tends to gain weight quickly. Devoted to his family, some fanciers feel the long-haired variety is calmer than the other two types, with the wire-haired variety being more outgoing and clown-like. All are slightly difficult to train. Can be difficult to housebreak. Dachshunds are good dogs to travel with. This little dog needs an owner who understands how to be his pack leader or he will take over the house, attempting to train the owner rather than allow the opposite. If the dog is allowed to take over, many behavior problems will arise, such as, but not limited to, guarding furniture, separation anxiety, food, toys or other objects, snapping, biting, and obsessive barking. They will become unpredictable with children and adults they do not know. If it gets really bad, they may become unpredictable with their owners.
>For More Information< Doberman Pinscher is intense and energetic with tremendous strength and stamina. Versatile, highly intelligent and very easy to train. Determined, fearless and assertive, but not vicious. Noble, loyal and affectionate with the family. It likes to be physically close to the family members. Devoted and watchful, this is a very people oriented breed. The Doberman needs an owner who is willing and able to display a natural authority over the dog. Humans need to discipline the dog without being afraid of him.
>For More Information< The Fila Brasileiro is a courageous, powerful Mastiff. It is amenable with its human family, making a very loyal loving companion. Extremely dedicated to his owner. A Fila will protect you without a moments hesitation. He feels that is why he is there. Once you bond with your Fila you and your family will become his whole world. You do not teach your Fila to protect you, as he does this on his own. It is the breeds nature to be loyal and protective of his family. They love kids in their own family and take a lot of abuse from them. Ask anyone who has kids and Fila's and they will tell you how unbelievable it is how gentle they are with the children in the family. Fila's make great family pets and are gentle, loving, loyal and very protective. They will also bond with other pets in your home. Outstanding courage, determination, and bravery are part of his characteristics. He is docile and obedient to his owners and family and extremely tolerant with children in his own family.
>For More Information< German Shepherds are direct and fearless, and alert. Bold, cheerful, obedient and eager to learn. Known for their tremendous loyalty and courage. Calmly confident, but not hostile. Serious and highly intelligent. They have a high learning ability. German Shepherds love to be close to their families, but can be wary of strangers. This breed needs his people and should not be left isolated for long periods of time. They only bark when they feel it is necessary. German Shepherds have a very strong protective instinct, so they should be extensively socialized. Aggression and attacks on people are due to poor handling and training. Problems arise when an owner allows the dog to believe he is pack leader over humans and or does not give the dog the mental and physical daily exercise he needs to be stable. This breed needs owners who are naturally authoritative over the dog in a calm, but firm, confident and consistent way.

The Great Dane is a gentle giant. Dignified, kind, sweet and affectionate, it is playful and patient with children. It loves everyone and needs to be around people. The Great Dane does not bark much and only becomes aggressive when the circumstances require it. A steady dog, responsible and dependable. Brave and loyal, it is a good watchdog. Because of his giant size, the Great Dane should be thoroughly obedience trained when young so it will be manageable when fully grown. Teach this giant dog not to lean against people, especially children.

Sensitive, sweet and elegant. Brave and loyal. With meek owneres it can become willful. The Greyhound is very intelligent, but its character is often undervalued because of its reserved behavior toward its master and toward strangers. Socialize them at an early age to prevent timidity. As a rule, they are gentle and even-tempered - both racing lines and show lines. Most Greyhounds have a definite prey instinct. It is instinctive for these dogs to chase anything that moves quickly. They are extremely fast and some will kill cats and other domestic animals, although this is not the majority (only about 20% of ex-racers are too "keen" on chasing prey to ever be safe with small animals). About 10% are immediately okay due to low prey instinct, and the rest can be trained to leave cats and other small pets in the home alone.
>For More Information<
The Old English Sheepdog is a gentle, loving and lovable teddy bear. Even-tempered and adaptable. They are friendly, intelligent, faithful and protective. It loves children and is very much part of the family. It has a strong herding instinct and may try to herd the family, especially the small children, by bumping, not nipping, but is otherwise excellent with them. They need to be taught not to herd humans

The Pomeranian is a lively little dog. Intelligent, eager to learn, very loyal to its handler and family. The Pom is a wonderful companion dog and show ring contender. The breed's docile temper and affectionate nature endear it to many. They are alert, curious and busy: one of the most independent of the Toy breeds. Its vivacity and spirit make it well-liked by persons who do not usually care for toy dogs. They may be picky eaters. If it is properly introduced they usually get along with other dogs and household animals without any problems. Poms make good little watch dogs. Teach this dog early that it may bark a couple of times when the doorbell rings or when there are visitors, but then to keep quiet. Be very consistent about this. Poms have a delightful nature and do not cling to their handlers. Proud and happy, they are good at learning tricks, but need a firm hand. The Pomeranian must know the owner is the boss, or he will not listen. This breed may become too demanding if the owner allows it
>For More Information<

The Rottie is calm, trainable, courageous, and devoted to their owner and family. They have a reliable temperament. Protective, he will defend his family fiercely. These are strong fighters that seem immune to pain. Serious, steady and confident. Firm and careful training is essential for this breed, otherwise you may end up with a very powerful and overly aggressive dog. Yet they can, with proper handling, also be loyal, loving and very rewarding companions. They require owners who can handle their massive size. The Rottie is a natural guard dog with a mellow temperament. They are highly intelligent and have proven their worth beyond question in police, military, and customs work over many centuries. Because of their size, training should begin fairly young - while the dog is still small. This breed needs a lot of leadership, companionship and socialization to be truly happy.
>For More Information<
The Schipperke are quick, energetic little dogs. High-spirited, alert, and self-confident. Very devoted and loyal, especially with children. It really bonds to its master. Pet cats will be happily accepted and they are usually good with other dogs. They are very smart, curious and mischievous. These dogs do exceptionally well on boats. Among the Schipperke's best qualities are the ability to defend its home against intruders - backing down from nobody, and being an excellent friend to children.

Socialize this breed well as a puppy.
>For More Information<
These dogs are gentle and playful and very fond of his or her family. A puppy at heart, they are clever, sociable and loving, easy-going and docile. Though they do generally have a lot of energy, especially as puppies. Good with children and friendly with strangers, they are not watchdogs, for they bark little and love everyone. Huskies are very intelligent and trainable, but they have a mind of their own and will only obey a command if they see the point and if you do not display leadership, they will not see the point in obeying you.
>For More Information<

Saint Bernards are extremely gentle and friendly and very tolerant of children. Slow moving, patient, and obedient. Extremely loyal, this breed wants to please. Since this dog is so giant, be sure socialize it very well at a young age with other people. It is highly intelligent and easy to train, however training should begin early, while the dog is still a manageable size.

Gosh.. There's nothing better than to have a dog to accompany me now~~~ Too bad my housing area is not really keen at the idea. ><

Maths & Science in English

It's been a rage last week due to this issue - Use Bahasa Malaysia to teach Science and Maths again.

Teaching Science & Maths in Bahasa Malaysia in English was implemented 7 years ago, when I first enter Form 1. Which means that I studied Science & Maths in Bahasa Malaysia in my primary years. Although, I don't really like the idea of suddenly changing our Science & Maths into English... I had to cope up with it and as humans adapt to changes, Science & Maths in English are enjoyable now.

However, since the last 7 years, there are so many people protesting against the use of English as a medium of teaching Science & Maths. The most popular reason is that students can't keep up with with their studies. Most of them are those from rural areas. Is that because of their lack of trying to learn the language? They can take up English language and try to learn the language instead of just protesting against the use of it.

I have friends.. mainly Chinese. Their English are not that super fluent since their mother tongue is mandarin, but I've never heard them complain about the use of English in Science & Maths. Plus, some of them are more fluent in Bahasa Malaysia compared to English. In fact, some of them manage to score really high marks. They even came to ask me to teach them to improve in their English(not bragging about me here). That proves that they are willing to learn. If you all want to protest to return Bahasa Malaysia as a medium of teaching Science & Maths, then they can also say that they want Mandarin as a medium of teaching Science & Maths. But they did not, because they are pretty sure that the Government won't allow it and that Science & Maths in English is not a bad thing. As long as you have the will to learn it, you'll realise that it's not living hell.

The young generations nowadays starts their Science & Maths in English(standard 1) and slowly progress without ever learning it in Bahasa Malaysia before. Compared to us that suddenly have to switch from 6 years of learning it in Bahasa Malaysia and suddenly to English, I think they are having an easier time to cope with it. Honestly, you all just need to spare a little bit more time to learn English. Me, being a Chinese and unable to speak Mandarin.. Also only truly learnt the language when I first came to UTAR(Watch loads and loads of Taiwanese drama). Although I didn't really learn the writings. But, I'm sure that Bahasa Malaysia and English have a lot more in common compared to English and Chinese characters??? Definitely...

Undeniably, Bahasa Malaysia is the National Language of Malaysia, but it's high time to learn that English is THE International language. It truly won't hurt to learn another language instead of just sticking to one language. I hope our Yang Berhormat Dato' Seri Hishammuddin bin Tun Hussein will stand strong in his principles and not waver. Because, I can be sure that IF Bahasa Malaysia is implemented as a medium in teaching Science & Maths again, the childrens will be having a far more difficult time when they enter college and university because, it is a known fact that higher studies uses English in the Science & Maths.

Foxtrot~

The atmosphere of Station One. Nice???

Yeay~~~ Dancing classes has started back!!!

Woot!!!
Yesterday was our first class and sadly, there's not many people attending.

4 girls and 5 guys.

But, it's so much fun all the same.
It's never dull dancing wif Ken..
You know why???

Because...

We can do the wrong moves and still look nice in it.

AND

Sir and miss will figure out why is that so.

LOL!!!

And then, we'll start laughing our heads off.

Anyway, foxtrot is not an easy dance because it's a sleezy and slow and romantic dance which I and Ken can never dance properly. Haha.. we still fare better in Jive~~~ Me being the stick and him being the wood.. Decided to be more "fat hau" to look nicer in the dance. Haha.. And suprisingly, it kind of worked!!!

Ahaha.. It was 7p.m. by the time we leave the place. While waiting for my mum to come, Ken accompanied me to try out the newly open Station 1. The name of the restaurant is not really cool, but the atmosphere is really nice. And the food there is not bad. It's a western based restaurant. We tried the snack "Four Colour Roll". It's nice!!! It's just fishcake and crab with some vegetables and mayonaise. Then, Ken ordered Iced Longan Milk and I just needed some Honey and thus, I ordered a glass of Iced honey. Ken's drink is so nice!!! T.T.. Regretted not ordering it. I thought Longan and Milk is not a good combination but it turned out GREAT. And Ken seizes every opportunity to tease me. Should've just grabbed the drink from him.

Four Colour Roll~Iced Longan Milk

Iced HoneyKen with his drink. There's actually another picture with him posing with the food. But, he's not sporting enough and deleted the picture. Boo!!! Shame on you KEN!!!

I'm such a catch!

I've come across a few people who thinks so highly of themselves. Yah, I know the greatest love of all is loving yourself, but I don't think it's until the extent of boasting about your riches or your greatness. And the most frustrating part is, you boast about yourself in such a humble way that it makes it all the worse.
For example:

Boasting of riches -
Sadly, my dad had to sell away one of my cars because I don't think my house garage can fit another extra car since he's going to get a brand new Nissan Skyline to add in to our collection of 10 cars. Bye Bye my lovely Subaru Impreza.

Boasting of ownself -
I find that so many people are adding me in Facebook. Gosh, I shouldn't have put that picture of me in it. But, I know that they are not real friends, so.. I have to other choice than to reject them.

Haha!!! I'm so good at boasting. Lol.. It's a wonder I don't put them to good use.

Anyway, I've not been into Friendster lately. But, my brother is still visiting it and I notice something amusing.

There's been a few girls putting up in shoutout saying "Please don't say thanks for the add when I didn't add u.. Hate it. Hate it. Hate it."

Me and my bro will exchange glances >> =.="..

Gosh.. It's honestly.. VANITY!!! Must they be so sensitive?

I can only draw one conclusion... EGO!
