When everything wasn't working out

You created the havoc.. Okayyyy, maybe it's not really you larrr... But, someone created the havoc and it's certainly not me. And you don't know what on earth to do. You're just as helpless as me.
But, I have to clear up the mess. I did everything I can to fix it. Since the mess is related to me dearly, I don't mind clearing it up. I finally got a reliable help to clear up the mess. Now, you're complaining.
You don't expect the mess to be cleared up flawlessly. If you're so great, I don't see you doing anything to prove it.
Blame yourself for relying too much on others!!! You should know these basic things. Don't blame me when it's not my fault. I'm not a scapegoat!!! ARGHHH!!!
And also your sidekick!!! I used to wonder how can both of you be stuck together.. Now, I can see why both of you are match made in heaven!!! ANNOYING!!!

*it's a pity we can't decide which family we want to be born into*

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SHAL!!!

BIRTHDAY GIRL~~~
29th january was Shal's birthday. But, we celebrated it on the 30th of January~~~ It was a suprise one. She called all of us out for a reunion since it's been a very long time since we've seen each other. She didn't expect all the cakes.. and MESS!!! WAHAHAHA!!! Well, she invited almost 10 people, but only 4 turned out. Zzz... There goes the big suprise. But, it's allright. We managed the suprise party pretty well with the 4 of us. Haha... Anyway, it was a tough job hunting for the cake. Almost all of the cake shops have weird cakes or small cakes on sale. Lynnett has to call me a few times to get a cake. Alas, i went to Central Market and got a pretty decent looking cake. Almond Mocha. It's from a bakery beside Oldtown.. I forgot the name of the Bakery. Even Secret Recipe has no good cakes except chocolate indulgence and other hybrid cakes(half one type, the other half another type). Shal arrived at 1p.m.. Malaysian timer~~~
were walking down memory lane, gossiping, updating each other on each other's lives... Really miss those good old days. Delinda arrived a bit later, but it's alright. She's so softspoken already. She used to b this loud noisy girl that mess around together with me. Lol.. Well, i guess everyone changes. Then, came the suprise cake. Shal was really suprised. She didn't expect it. The Burger King staffs are really nice. They even provided her a crown. Haha... It was a tough job blowing the candles as I got the Magic Relighting Candles for her. haha... Well, it's nothing compared to what you did to us 5 years ago, darling. Hahaha... Then, it's the cream smearing ceremony~~~ Finally, it's time to say goodbye. Hope to see you guys soon. And HAPPY BIRTHDAY SHAL!!! you know we love you. XD
Sindhu pranking Shal~~~
Shal got pranked. XD~~~

The masterpiece~~~

And not fogetting, the cake~~~

Delinda and me, miss you gurl~~~

Sindhu and Lynn~~~ Master posers.. HAHA

Whee~~~ Hug Teddy Bear~~

Will be missing you all~~~

Computer Revived~~~

My computer had jusst recovered from a VERY VERY VERY malicious illness. Yah.. My computer got attacked by viruses on Chinese New Year's Eve!!! Gosh.. What can I say??? It got attacked at 8p.m.. And i was deleting it, scanning my computer like crazy until 2++ a.m. night. But, the virus just won't go!!! I was at the brink of breakdown. Number one, because the laptop is my dad's office's one. Number two, I've had an experience with my old pc where it got attacked by the same Trojan virus until it's all useless now. Super super slow!!!

But, I'm not taking blame for the virus attack because I'm damn sure it's not my fault. I didn't visit any unreliable websites. Unless you're telling me that facebook got problem??? So, at 2++ a.m. at night, Ken messaged Gong Xi Fa Cai message to me. >.<"... I straightaway asked him to help. He said either format or ignore. ZZZZ... Then, i messaged Ching Yong. He was very kind. Helping me.. Offering choices on formatting it or updating my anti-virus software and then scan the computer again. At least i don't feel so helpless. Then, I messaged my dai lou - Leong Kar Seng. He said Trojan will spread, so the best way is to format the PC. Being a pro in computer plus APIT student, I surrendered my computer to him on the second day of Chinese New Year.

It was 5 hours of formatting. The formatting process was fast, but backing up the files is a real pain. Zzzz... Dai Lou also said that Norton is unreliable especially for a low RAM comp like mine. Zzzz.. And now, my computer has a new anti-virus program. Yeah!!! Avast! Really thank you dai lou!!! Despite the New Year, you still helped me. I'm really grateful. And now, my computer is up and running. Phew.. What a relief!!!

Anyway, Dai Lou has changed a lot. Not so foul-mouthed anymore. More patient. A good change overall. And my mum would probably say, more leng zhai. Hahaha... I'm also glad that he's got a very loving girlfriend now.

Anyway, to readers.. If you guys have any computer related problem... Or need help in web page designing, do leave by a message and I'll contact him. His blog has expired... So, can't post the link here. >.<"""...

Today More Than Yesterday

This is a really nice song. I got this video when Ken was infatuated by this song a month ago. He was googoogaga over it telling me that the MV is so touching. So, to silence him, I just went and had a look. The MV was ok lar... And I told him that. He was kind of mad at me. Haha.. However, i really like the arrangement of the music and the lyrics especially. Honestly, it's really hard to sing Korean songs. XD

Fuuny Videos???

Ok, one whole week is gone doing Physics with Ken Elephant. There's another week to go. It was quite productive studying with him since it's not all bore. Because you know, when you study, it's gonna be so bored because it's all about facts and there's noone to talk to. And you'll feel like you're gonna get lost and get lost deeper. So, basically, Ken is a real good study partner. He really cracks jokes and I don't feel that bored or sleepy. Although he's not awesomely smart, he make a decent enough study partner. We managed to tackle half of out syllabus. Hope we can finish it up by next week. Because, we're really out of time!!! Ken once said before.... "If we started one month earlier, we would be more pro"... >.<... Oh yah... I found these funny videos thanks to him. He showed it to me. Parental guidance is needed for those aged 7 and below. XD... Mind corrupter. My dreams of fairytales... T.T...
For those who don't understand cantonese, I'm really sorry... >.<

5T 2007 Reunion

5t 2007 ~ Miss You Guys~~~

17th of January was THE day when the 5T of 2007 came together after a year or not meeting each other. I thought the whole class would be coming, but only half of the class turned up as the others has their own thing to do. I got fired when I reached because i was half an hour late. Haha.... It's not on purpose okayyyyy....? I was having a late lunch wif my family. XD...

When I reached, I went around Times Square to find the Bowling Alley. It took me another 10 minutes finding for that place. I'm kind of blur when it comes to Times Square... or any place actually. Finally!!! When I found that place... *handphone message beeps*
Message from Bavani: Chris, come to the main entrance.

WARGH!!! After 10 minutes of walking around the place. Geez... It's ok. I onli have myself to blame for being so blur and for being late. When i reached the main entrance, I saw a group of people posing and taking pictures. Haha... I guessed it was them and BINGO~~~

There was loadsa hugs and chattering. I really missed them. Bavani really changed a lot and I was teasing her about her hair. I wanted so badly to reverse the time.. But, it's impossible. It's so much fun being younger and in school. With those school friends. Sharing the moments together.

There were a few latercomers.. Fawn, Valerie and Mary. Haha... Valerie was the first one to open her big mouth and start a friendly argument with me. She's more filled out now. Haha... And she's going to Melbourne, Aussie next month. Oh boy, I'm really going to miss her.

After hugging and updating each other on our lives, we went to NEWS KTV... Onli 21 years and above is allowed to enter. And we got in. So.. I'm just wondering.. Am I supposed to be happy that I look older than my actual age??? LOL...

And thus... The pictures...
Fatin Hanisah, Me, Amanda... and Baba refusing to stop her singing. XD

Shafeena is always so high. Haha..

Award: Singing Queen

When everyone including Rosilina is high.

Valerie & Shafeena

Fawn~~~ The Singing Queen~~~
Fatin Ahmad~~~ It's her turn. The hyper gal

And we managed to celebrate Mary's birthday. Belated one. HAPPY 19TH BIRTHDAY MARY~~~

I had to leave early at around 7 p.m... And again, Valerie is the last to have another friendly argument with me. XD... After so long of not meeting them, today is a really memorable day. I'll sure miss them. Take care~~~

Something about me. How True??? Hmm...

Your view on yourself:

You are down-to-earth and people like you because you are so straightforward. You are an efficient problem solver because you will listen to both sides of an argument before making a decision that usually appeals to both parties.

The type of girlfriend/boyfriend you are looking for:

You like serious, smart and determined people. You don't judge a book by its cover, so good-looking people aren't necessarily your style. This makes you an attractive person in many people's eyes.

Your readiness to commit to a relationship:

You prefer to get to know a person very well before deciding whether you will commit to the relationship.

The seriousness of your love:

Your have very sensible tactics when approaching the opposite sex. In many ways people find your straightforwardness attractive, so you will find yourself with plenty of dates.

Your views on education:

Education is very important in life. You want to study hard and learn as much as you can.

The right job for you:

You have plenty of dream jobs but have little chance of doing any of them if you don't focus on something in particular. You need to choose something and go for it to be happy and achieve success.

How do you view success:

You are afraid of failure and scared to have a go at the career you would like to have in case you don't succeed. Don't give up when you haven't yet even started! Be courageous.

What are you most afraid of:

You are afraid of having no one to rely on in times of trouble. You don't ever want to be unable to take care of yourself. Independence is important to you.

Who is your true self:

You are mature, reasonable, honest and give good advice. People ask for your comments on all sorts of different issues. Sometimes you might find yourself in a dilemma when trapped with a problem, which your heart rather than your head needs to solve.

Embrace The New Year of 2009

HAPPY NEW YEAR.
Another welcome to another new year. Say goodbye to year 2008 and let's embrace 2009 with a positive thinking. Like the saying goes, "Fallen Flowers Can't Climb Back". So, let's try to forget all those sad, angry & frustrated moments we had and move on with our life. I guess that would be a whole lot better than to lament on our past too much which will lead to depression.
But, no matter what, memories are a part of us... In every human in fact that we should not try to erase all our memories. Especially those building and good memories that can make us smile when we reflect back. Imagine those who wants desperately to have their own memory and call them their memories but are unable to do so - Alzheimer patients. To them, "memories are the mind's way of gathering roses in the winter"---Sir Barrie.
Also, "Be The Best That You Can Be". A poem written by Douglas Malloch.
If you can't be s pine on the top of the hill,
Be a scrub in the valley - but be
The best little scrub by the side of the rill.
Be a bush, if you can't be a tree.
If you can't be a bush, be a bit of the grass,
And some highway happier make;
If you can't be a muskie, then just be a bass -
Be the liveliest bass in the lake!
We can't all be captains, we've got to be the crew,
There's something for all of us here.
There's big work to do and there's lesser to do
And the task we must do is near.
If you can't be a highway, then just be a trail,
If you can;t be the sun, be a starm
It isnt' by size that you win or fail -
Be the best of whatever you are
Martin Luther King once said;
"If a man is called to be a street-sweeper, he should sweep streets just as well as how Michelangelo painted, or how Beethoven composed music, or how Shakespeare wrote poetry. He should sweep streets so well that everyone will pause to say, 'here lived a great streer-sweeper who did his job well'".
Most of the time, we tend to undervalue the things we do. We always think that what the others doing are more important or better than what we're doing. We would think that what we're doing is nothing compared to what they are doing. This leads us to become demotivated with whatever we're doing and it is really not a good feeling. It's so negative that it could probably lead to us giving up in whatever we want to do in the future. Society attaches false values to many things in our lives. The most popular one being "lawyer is better than teacher". Maybe better in terms of salary??? But each of the function is equally important to each other.
-Credits to FAMP 1013 Public Speaking Team. Public speaking is enjoyable especially with these mind-opening quotes-
You have to tie the handkerchief to fit your head. Reality always sink in whenever we try to achieve our resolutions. But, try our best to achieve it and we can always accomplish at least half of what we've set up. This post is so philosophical... ZZzzzz... That's because I didn't go anywhere for New Year's Eve. Nothing to blog about and so, I've decided to torture my readers with this lengthy and philosophical post. XD!!! I miss my last year New Year with BP and the gang. Before this post ends... HAPPY NEW YEAR once again and may your New Year be a kick-start to a wonderful and fruitful year ahead.
My resolutions:
*Continue my studies and achieve good results. XD*

Happy Birthday Bro~~~

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BOI!!!

1 November 1994 was the day when the Gods and Devils witnessed another usual occurence---birth!!! However, this one of the many births that they witnessed is THE birth that changed my life forever. My 4 years of being the only daughter of the family has ended and it's time to welcome a new being into the family---my BROTHER. Me and my brother always fight non-stop as how it is in every family. But, I've never regretted his presence in my household. As years grow, me and my bro start to have a strong bond between us. At least for me. It is a blessing having him around. As the older sister, i even relied on him... Only on occassions. The older he gets, the more wise he, as well as I becomes. I hope with him turning 14 on 1 November 2008, he'll become a wiser person. Not to mention all the happiness be with him. A few pics we took when we went to this awesome Thai seafood palace in sg. Buloh!!!

This is the awesome place!!!

The 2 Thai coconuts me & my bro had~~~ XD

TOM YAM steamboat kind of thing. REALLY NICE!!!

My bro doing his so-called "delicious" pose. BIRTHDAY BOY!!!

Struggling in scraping his coconut! Ahahhaha!

"OMG!!! My birthday achievement!!! Finally managed to scrape the coconut!!!"

Then, it's time to seek adventure... Outdoors~~~

Me & the birthday boy~~~

One of the scenery i managed to take of the restaurant. Really nice architecture and very palace-ey...

And they even have a pond along the place.. This is only one portion of the pond. Lovely~~~
Finally, me & my bro doing some love love symbol behind our mum~~~

Abortion of a Down Syndrome Child is Not Right

Good morning to Miss Lee Sa and my fellow friends. Before I continue with my speech, I would like to show all of you a few pictures. These are the pictures of a fetus in a mother’s womb. Now, I would like to ask a question. If this child is diagnosed with Down Syndrome and as a parent of this child, would you abort it? Ladies and gentlemen, this brings us to my topic for today which is “Abortion of a Down Syndrome Child Is Not Right”.

My first reason for saying that it is not right to abort a Down syndrome child is simply because the child is a human. Research shows that 40% of parents terminate their pregnancy when the child is diagnosed with Down syndrome. Does having Down syndrome make the child any less human and thus does not deserve a life on earth? The child is also like any other child and deserves love, respect and dignity. Some of you might say “aborting the child is better than sending him to a living hell on earth as they will not be able to cope with the society”. How sure are you about it? The child is not a marionette where you can gain control with a few pull of strings. You don’t know how he feels. He might want to come to this world and experience the ups and downs of life. Kathryn Lynard Soper, mother of a Down syndrome child had fears of their happiness when her first Down Syndrome child was born. Moreover, his health was unstable. However the more time she spent with him, the more she thinks of him as a cute baby. As his health stabilized and the more she got to know him as a person, she began to be excited that he was there and the fear slowly vanished. She began to have a beautiful experience. If you ask her if she is happy, she will answer you with a resounding “YES!” and adds that we will be happy if we choose to be.

Moving on to my second point which is on the responsibility of parents. Parents should be responsible for their own creation. Every pregnancy has its risks and Down Syndrome is one of them. If you’re not prepared to face the risks, then you should be more careful not to get pregnant. A Down Syndrome child just need a little more attention, patience and effort to take care of. Please do not give the three words excuse which are “not enough time”. Every God’s creation is entrusted with 24 hours a day and if other mothers can do it, why can’t you? For example, a couple in Colorado insisted on giving birth to a Down Syndrome child whom they named Jacob. They never regretted giving birth to him. In addition to that, they are leading a happy and normal life. The couple did try for a second child but never succeeded. They say that Jacob is a blessing and if they had aborted him, they would be left with nothing now. The mother also quoted Pope John Paul II writing in Mulieris Dignitatem para. 30 “God entrusts human being to her in a special way in every situation of her life”.

Continuing to my third and final point, having a Down Syndrome child gives new life experiences to oneself. Undeniably, taking care of a Down Syndrome child has never been an easy task, but there are tons of new things to be learnt from it. For example, maybe life doesn’t always have to be so perfect in order to be happy. Another mother of a Down Syndrome child, Janine Steck Huffmann said this according to her own experience, “He has taught me a lesson I still work through everyday – that the value of life, a human, a child is not measured by how much he or she can accomplish, but by how much he or she can teach about what really matters”.

In conclusion, a Down Syndrome child is also a human being. Plus, it is a parent’s responsibility to take care of the child. Furthermore, new experiences can be gained from a Down Syndrome child. Therefore, I am certain that although aborting a Down Syndrome child may seem like the easy way out, it is certainly not the right thing to do. THANK YOU!
